Why I Created siril.space

2025-10-03

I didn’t start siril.space because I love content (of course I love content 🙃). I started it because I was tired of doing marketing in the dark.

No direction. No strategist to bounce ideas off. No honest space to ask, “Is this even the right move?”

Even after doing an MBA from IIM, I walked into my first startup role and hit a wall.

Real-world marketing isn’t explained. It’s expected.

  • build a GTM plan
  • write landing page copy
  • run ads
  • optimize a funnel
  • make reports
  • handle handoffs
  • and somehow own the strategy too
  • So you Google. You guess. You panic-edit. You figure it out. Alone.

If you’ve ever been that marketer, you already know why this space needs to exist.

    Why I’m Building This

Because most marketers aren’t just executing. They’re guessing.

  • Guessing if their copy hits.
  • Guessing what to prioritize.
  • Guessing what strategy even means when you're the only marketer in the room.
  • And they’re doing it without backup.

So I built siril.space, not as a blog, not as a brand, but as a support system.

A space for solo marketers and early founders to figure sh*t out.

To learn how to think strategically and get things done.

To stop second-guessing everything and start moving with clarity.

    Why Me?

Because I’ve done the work, and still do.

  • I’ve built GTM strategies from scratch, not just the deck, but the actual launch.
  • I’ve helped bring entirely new products to market.
  • I’ve written the copy, planned the funnels, worked with product teams, launched under pressure, optimized under fire.
  • I’ve worked with no budget, no backup, and sometimes no clue what would work.
  • But I’ve figured it out. And I’ve made things work.
  • And yeah, I have an MBA from IIM (it should count, right?😬)
  • But siril.space isn’t built on case studies. It’s built on real world execution and strategic decision-making when you don’t have a full-stack team.

    What You’ll Find Here

    This isn’t just a blog. It’s a lab. A notebook. A war room. A support system.

  • Tactical toolkits, not theory dumps
  • Strategy breakdowns, not buzzword decks
  • Real talk rants, because someone’s gotta say it
  • Templates, cheat sheets, and swipe files, things you’ll actually use
  • A community of people who get it, because we’ve all Googled “how to write a CTA that doesn’t suck” at least once
  • Me trying to define positioning, plan the GTM, write the emails, and report performance, all by myself 🥲.
Me trying to define positioning, plan the GTM, write the emails, and report performance, all by myself 🥲.

    What I’m Not Doing

  • I’m not here to act like a guru 🙄
  • I don’t have all the answers.
  • I’m not selling “10x secrets.”
  • Everything I write on siril.space comes from personal experience and honest observation.

If it worked, I’ll say so. If it bombed, I’ll still tell you why.

If you’re tired of guessing, tired of the fluff, tired of doing it alone, you’re home. Welcome to siril.space. Let’s figure sh*t out together.
